BACKGROUND
This program is a continuation of the "International Competition on Sustainable Education (SUSED) 2022". A program which had been organized by Kulliyah of Education (KOED), International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM) in collaboration with Akademi Pengajian Bahasa (APB) UiTM Negeri Sembilan Branch, Kuala Pilah Campus last year.
ABOUT OUR PROGRAM
Sustainable Development, defined as an evolution that meets the current needs without endangering the future generations’ abilities.
It is a way in sustaining the sustainability of education through e-learning in meeting the demand of contemporary education whilst enabling appropriate changes without threatening basic resources from losing its effectiveness.

Building upon the practice of Education for Sustainable Development (ESD) as a lifelong learning process and fostering cross-sectoral collaboration, it is with a hope that the continuation of this program would spearhead the collective action to a sustainable development.
This competition highlights on the importance of sustainability in education by promoting successful practices through academic development, leadership, and innovation. In short, SUSED2023 aims to inspire and showcase effective practices contributing to a more sustainable education system by empowering educators and students to become agents of change, hence

DIGITAL EDUCATIONAL ACTION PLAN
In supporting the sustainable and effective adaptation of the education and training system, the European Union (EU) has renewed the initiative policy, The Digital Education Action Plan (2021–2027).
The plan offers a long-term strategic vision for digital education as it addresses the hurdles and opportunities of the COVID-19 pandemic, promoting the importance of working together to bring education to the digital age.
Aligning with the plan, this competition fosters invention, innovation, and design for sustainable education. Not only that, this contributes to the repositioning of FPK in higher education by strengthening teaching quality and empowering educators and students.
Ultimately, the one-day competition hopes to provide educators and students with knowledge and skills in sustainable education practices, as well as foster collaboration and critical thinking towards a more sustainable future together.​​
